We loved our stay at this property! The decor is fun, and it’s stocked with everything you need! The layout accommodated our group perfectly.

It was a nice property with plenty of room for everyone. We did have the hot water run out in the downstairs bathroom which was a bit disappointing, but otherwise it was a great space and we had a good time there.

Such a great stay at Pirates Lair. We had a party of 15 including 13 adults, 3 yr old, and a 1 yr old. Everyone had enough room and we never felt crowded! The 2 master suites downstairs were perfect to give added privacy to the older couples. So close to Disney just a quick Uber ride to the park and back. Having strollers, high chair, pack and play, and toddler table provided added convenience for our family. And the kids loved getting to pick their themed room. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Funtierland for a great Disney stay!!

This is a great option for big families. Has everything a a family needs. From highchairs to strollers and carseats. We really enjoyed staying here and the kids had a blast.

Great place to stay with entire family and married kids. We have 8 kids with 3 married and the house easily fit everyone. Has great accommodations for doing our family Thanksgiving. Close to fun activities for the family. Would definitely go back again.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Frontierland. From the start the booking process was easy & communication clear. The house was perfect for my large family gathering. There were plenty of beds for all of us. The house is well furnished & the amenities are wonderful. The extras they provide like a stroller & beach chairs assured me they had thought of everything. The location's proximity to Disneyland is what first drew our attention to the home. Even if I wasn't going to Disney, I would still rent this home. You should, too.

Overall it was a great stay. We will definitely be staying here next time when we come back. There was a few minor details but nothing that you can’t deal with. The host was amazing always so flexible with us and patient. We will definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful stay. The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature. Lots of space for our family to spread out. The house was really close to shopping centers and Disneyland, and just a short drive to the beach. The host is very helpful and responsive to our needs.

So many rooms and bathrooms! Super spacious living and kitchen area. We had a large group and there was plenty of room for everyone. Definitely recommend!

Just Awesome!!! It was perfect for our family of 15. Lots of space and clean. The rooms were beautifully decorated and our grandbabies loved the themed rooms....princess, lego and cars. They called the backyard a park because it was big and had the playground and we all loved the pool. It was close to walmart which we loved and close to freeways and to Disneyland. We loved it and would definitely book again.

The house was fantastic I think kids actually liked the pool and Swing set in backyard more than Disneyland. This house is just minutes from Disneyland. This is a great house for large families. There is parking for 4 vehicles. We played Ping Pong in Backyard everyday

We had 7 kids ages 3-12 and 8 adults; the house size was perfect and back yard was great. Kids especially loved the pool/hot tub and enjoyed the pool toys and extra floaties. Pool is bigger than it looks in the photos! Kitchen was large with a lot of empty cabinet space, good for all our food storage. Bedrooms were separated nicely - kids bedrooms and 2 king bedrooms upstairs, and a king master suite downstairs plus another queen master suite off the kitchen. Neighborhood was lovely too, and made for great short walks. Disney only 8 minute drive away; also a Walmart and Target less than a mile away. Overall a really wonderful stay.

UK party of 8 adults, 4 children. Highly recommend this property. Close to everything you’d want to see. Quiet location. Nice fenced off clean pool and hot tub. Yes a bit tired, but it made it very child friendly in that it’s not too pristine you’d be worried about them enjoying themselves. Beautifully clean throughout. Great themed rooms the kids loved. Loved everything about it, but could do with a more comfortable sofa and it could have been better equipped in the kitchen.

We loved our stay at this home! We had 13 in our party and we all had lots of space (and we didn’t use one of the rooms). It was super clean, the beds/ bedding were comfortable. There were plenty of utensils, dishes, pots/pans, a crockpot and kitchen items for us to use to prepare meals. They had plenty of toilet paper, soap, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry soap, dishwasher detergent and shampoo/conditioner. There are extra fans and bedding if needed. We always had plenty of hot water. The ping pong table and pool table were so fun and the pool/ hot tub were absolutely glorious!! Beautiful neighborhood and sweet neighbors. Right next to Walmart, Costco and other stores/restaurants.They didn’t require anything for cleaning at checkout but we were more than happy to help with towels. Thanks so much for an incredible stay! We will definitely book again!

We had 16 family members there and it was perfect for us. The pool and yard with the swing set were so fun for our kids. We had a marvelous time!

We enjoyed our stay— from our little people all the way up to grandpa. The bedroom themes were fun, the kitchen was fully stocked, the backyard added extra activities. The home was clean, comfortable, and felt very welcoming.

Staff was very good and we had a good experience. Would rent again.

Fantastic location and amenities, what else can you ask for? The house was very clean and well equipped and even with our party of 14 there was more than enough room. As importantly, the Funtierland team members are super responsive to any questions or requests and so easy to deal with. The theme rooms were a hit with the kids. I highly recommend this property!

The location of this home can’t be beat! It’s in a beautiful neighborhood and you can see the Disney fireworks every night. The home is just as described as well. The beds were comfy and the amenities of the home were great! We would definitely stay here again!

We wish we’d booked an extra day at this house just so we could’ve actually enjoyed the property more. We only ended up sleeping there because we were at Disneyland all day long, but this house has a great yard and pool we wish we could’ve taken better advantage of. The adults slept like babies in the comfy beds and the kids crashed every night in their adorable themed rooms. Highly recommend! I was surprised by the fairly intense check out expectations given the higher cleaning costs. We had to prioritize finishing one load of laundry and starting a second in the midst of packing and preparing for a long road trip all before a 10am checkout. (Oh, and only one home glitch-one tub has a wonky handle that feels like it might break on you and leave you with a never ending stream of water. But the property managers reply quick enough if that were to happen. I’m just glad it didn’t bust on our stay.)

We absolutely loved our stay here. Quick and easy drive over to Disneyland from the property, but still an amazing home to come to each night and relax after a long day on our feet. We loved the pool and the hot tub and yard. Tons of beds and space for our very large family (we had a group of 16 people) and we were very comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. Everything in the house was clean, well maintained and in good repair. I was particularly blown away by the level of detail they put into the property website when checking in, with very detailed check in and check out instructions, instructions on how to use all the equipment, etc. Added bonus was that they also had a double stroller there for us to use. Many of the themed rooms were a lot of fun for the kids. I would also add that the neighborhood was actually nicer than I expected, gorgeous tree lined streets and a very quiet residential area. We also appreciated the extra box fans in all the rooms, which some of us put to good use. I only have two very small "improvements" I would recommend. 1. For a house that is supposed to be for large parties--there were only 8-10 forks. We had to run to the store to get some extra forks, which was a small annoyance. 2. The code to access the front door is very long, 10 or 12 digits or something like that, which was annoying because it was too long to memorize, and so we had to look it up every time we wanted to come in through the front door. I would have loved a shorter code. Obviously, those are both minor issues and overall, we LOVED our stay at this property, thank you so much for having us!

Brought extended family along for a trip to Disney. Home is located just a very short drive from the park. Property was well maintained and rooms were very clean and beds surprisingly comfortable. Loved the kitchen table and that it could fit a large group.

Great place to hold a big group! Our group of 8 adults and 9 kids had plenty of space. Quiet neighborhood, close to Disney. We enjoyed the private pool, plenty of bed space, and the back yard was so much fun after a long day of traveling. We had only one need and they responded quickly and helped us out. Would recommend!

Our family stayed at the Pirate's Lair for five days in the midst of the Coronavirus so we could meet our new grandson and visit with our son and daughter-in-law who live nearby. The home was clean and spacious, and the pool and back yard toys were plenty of fun entertainment for us as we spent most of our time there at the property since we didn't want to be out and about too much! We had a couple of glitches with our scheduling due to some family members changing plans, but Shari was very understanding and accommodating. She really came through for us! We'd love to stay there again.

Rental was perfect for our family trip. We had 16 people and still felt like we had space. I would suggest to change the shower head in the upstairs bathroom though. Kids enjoyed the playground and pool. My family already talked about staying here again on the next trip or trying another location they have.

The house was very large and comfortably fit all 17 of us (extended family) for our Disneyland vacation. It had lots of nice extras like shampoo and conditioner in all the bathrooms, hand soap, plenty of trash bags, a crockpot, a BBQ and extra towels and bedding. It was a little bit of a bummer that we couldn't be outside after 10pm, even for a quiet soak in the hot tub. The house was clean, but well used, and could benefit from a good deep clean (door jams, etc.). It had a couple of dents in the floor under the carpet upstairs that should probably be seen to. Overall, it was an excellent house and we would absolutely stay here again.

Pirates Lair was the perfect place for our Disneyland vacation in September 2019. The 7 rooms and 4.5 baths were just right for our family of 9 adults and 6 children. Lots of space for us all.
Swimming pool, spa, yard, shuffle board, billiard table and ping pong were big hits with everyone.
Several strollers available were a great help.
Plenty of towels for both house and pool.
Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans, griddle, toaster, coffee maker and many spices.
An easy 5 minute drive to the Disneyland parking structure.
Very nice neighborhood, close to grocery stores and restaurants.
Management quickly responded to and corrected the few issues that popped up with the spa/pool heating.
The only improvements I suggest are the air conditioning, which couldn't quite keep the upstairs cool on the hottest 90 degree days and the top mattress in the Cars room is just a box spring.
We loved our stay and will definitely look first to book here again on our next visit.

Our family of 16 stayed in this home in July of 2019 to celebrate a 50th Wedding Anniversary. This home worked wonderfully for the 8 adults and 8 children who were there.

The overall stay was better than we had hoped for. There was plenty of room for everybody.

We all enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and didn't want to leave on our days off. The back yard was used often and we loved the swing set and shuffle board game.

The kitchen was big enough for all of us and there was ample space to prepare and enjoy meals together.

The bedrooms were great and the children loved the theme in each one. There were actual beds for everyone to sleep in.

The home is in a wonderful location. It's very close to grocery stores and a 5-8 minute drive to the Disneyland Mickey and Friends Parking structure which was perfect as we spent the majority of our vacation in the parks and didn't want a long commute.

The neighborhood was extremely safe and because of that, a few of our party were comfortable in going jogging during the morning hours.

The home was very clean and had all of the amenities that we needed for our stay. We were grateful for the beach items located in the garage and utilized them.

The rental management staff was easy to work with and answered e-mail very quickly. We didn't need to contact them during our stay as things went very smoothly and we had no issues at all.

I would definitely recommend this home and would stay here again. I wish I could give 6 stars.

My wife and I recently took 15 of our kids/grand kids to Disney for the week. We really wanted to find a great place close to the park that we could all hang out, the Pirates Lair was great! Before we even arrived at the house, the owners allowed us to get in a little early, which really helped the family memebers who were arriving on early flights. The house was clean and plenty of room. The only bummer was the rain that week which made the pool somewhat unusable as there was so much the pool overflowed into the hot tube which prevented it from staying hot. Other than that we had a great stay. There is a Wal-Mart super close which was nice because we planned on cooking most of our meals. We would definitely stay there again and would suggest it to anyone. Nice area and very safe.

We really enjoyed the house. We are a family of 13 with 6 different households coming together. The themed rooms made it super fun for the kids. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub and yard too. The neighborhood was safe and quiet, the drive to Disney was a breeze! The beds were comfortable (only exception was the big lower bed in the lego room was not suitable for an adult) and bathrooms very usable. The strollers were great as our littlest are 5 and we would not normally use a stroller. There is ample room for the kids to play and the adults to enjoy company or all hang out together! The kitchen had everything we needed and we used the BBQ to grill. Our trip was in January, so being in by 10 wasn't a big deal most of the time (although a early morning hot tub soak would be nice). plenty of towels were provided.
We had a few suggestions for the rental company to make the stay better that I feel confident they will continue to work on.

We had a great time at this house. It was perfect for all 11 of the people in our group. The one thing that didn't work our or go well for us was the fact that they water the backyard way to much. There was always water puddled under the swings. It made it difficult for the kids to use the climbing structure. It was December no need for that much water. Loved the location it was very close to Disney. Would stay here again.

Thirteen family members enjoyed the ability to be together in this amazing Disney themed house for 4 days. The two younger kids enjoyed coming back to the pool in the afternoon while the older kids stayed at the park. Uber worked out really well from this location for quick pick up and drop off needs.
The large kitchen with eating area outside was so relaxing for our large group....room to move for our mealtimes.

Our week at Pirate's Lair was wonderful. The owners were helpful, easily accessible and anxious to please. When we had a problem with Home and Away, the owners contacted them and took care of the situation immediately. The home is in a lovely neighborhood very close to shopping, Disneyland and the interstate and only 25 minutes to John Wayne airport. It was comfortable for our family of 15. We especially enjoyed the covered patio, pool, and play equipment. The children loved the themed rooms. There were many amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, a well supplied kitchen, shampoo and conditioner, hairdryers, beach towels, plenty of bath towels, and a washer and dryer. I would highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed!

The house was clean and we had all the things we need for a nice week. only that we get an email after 10p.m., that we must hold the rules (no noice after 10), but we only clean the table at this time. We had an amazing time. The house is perfect for a family with lots of kids or a couple of families. Close enough for a quick drive to disney. We went early in the morning every day, left when it got busy and came back to the house to swim/nap, then back to the park in the evening. It was perfect! If you are coming in the mild months, definitely pay for pool heat. There was one day the heat wasn't working (at no fault of the homeowner, it was the pool company software or something) and BRRRRR it was cold! (Sidenote: funtierland reps were super responsive and helpful!) The backyard is so great for kids, they loved the shuffleboard and we all had a few ping pong tourneys. The pool table in the garage is a nice touch. The only suggestions I could make: there are a zillion closets but not many hangers, it would be worth picking up a couple cheap packs at wal mart (nearby) for your stay if you like to hang things up. Also a coatrack or some wall hooks in the entryway would be super helpful for all of those jackets/bags/backpacks, etc., but really, those are the only things I could think the whole week that I noticed were missing. Tons of towels and sheets etc., we ran the laundry pretty consistently while we were there so that was a nice perk to have! Would definitely pick this house again!! Thanks so much

Spend a week in early February 2018 at the wonderful accommodation called Pirate's Lair! This place was amazing! Plenty of room for the entire extended family, including grandparents, adult siblings and their children. While our main focus was visiting Disneyland which was only about 10 minutes away, we found so much to do while resting up at the house. Costumes and dress ups for the little ones where a big hit, themed rooms were awesome and there was a great kitchen for the chefs of the family. The back yard was great for the kids, with swing sets, play house and ping pong on the patio. Shuffleboard was fun, and or course there was the pool to relax in. I would recommend this house to any Disneyland fans. Totally amazing. We would love to come back some day. ANy questions we had were promptly responded to, all long the process from securing the reservation to the time of departure! Such a fun vacation can't be over already can it!!!?? A very choice time for great memories. You can't go wrong with this choice!

Wonderful home located in nice residential area close to Disney. Well-suited for our family trip. There were 17 of us meeting in Anaheim and the house was a perfect size. Backyard is amazing with play set, shuffle board, pool and hot tub. Also plenty of outdoor seating. Quick response from property managers when needed. Number of dishes and pans were more than most rentals - we were able to make/serve Christmas dinner without any problems.

A group of adults in town for a convention we were a mix of singles and couples, this house was an incredible find with all the amenities of modern living included. The bedrooms are all well laid out, private and have comfortable beds, but the real selling features of this house are the kitchen/dining/living room space and the incredible back yard! Our group wanted for nothing in this property, all the supplies you would expect to stock yourself were already on-site for our arrival - there were plenty of consumables on hand (Paper towel, toilet paper, cleaning products, ect) though the only thing you'll need to buy yourself is laundry detergent/softener/fabric sheets if you plan on using the laundry facilities during your stay. The kitchen is spacious, brightly lit, and on our arrival already had a fair amount of sundries and non perishables stocked (though your experience may vary). The back yard is impeccable, we used the hot tub each day during our week long stay and were outside right up until 9:45PM every night (Anaheim law requires outdoor quiet time beginning at 10PM and they are not kidding friends, the first fine is $2500!). The backyard shuffleboard saw some use and the barbecue is big enough to prepare all your grilling proteins in one go.
There is not one single thing about this property that was not as described - it is a wonderful getaway not only for families but also for any group of adults as well! Would recommend this property and Funtierland to any friends, family or colleagues travelling to the Anaheim area in the future. I will absolutely rent from them again give the opportunity!

The back yard is impeccable, we used the hot tub each day during our week long stay and were outside right up until 9:45PM every night (Anaheim law requires outdoor quiet time beginning at 10PM and they are not kidding friends, the first fine is $2500!). The backyard shuffleboard saw some use and the barbecue is big enough to prepare all your grilling proteins in one go.
There is not one single thing about this property that was not as described - it is a wonderful getaway not only for families but also for any group of adults as well! Would recommend this property and Funtierland to any friends, family or colleagues travelling to the Anaheim area in the future. I will absolutely rent from them again give the opportunity!

We had a great time as a family (16 adults and children) in the Priate's Lair. The house was very clean and well maintained and fit us all comfortably.

Two things of concern: 1) The lock on the gate to the pool was broken 2) The faucet in the master bathroom leaked

After many travels with large groups, you never know what to expect until you arrive on site. The descriptions listed on this home were absolutely accurate. They had everything we needed plus more. The only "complaint" would be that there were no ceiling fans, but there were fans in each room, so that helped keep us as cool as we're used to. We would absolutely recommend this property and would stay here again.

We had a great time the house was as advertised. Clean and fun for the kids with the themed bedrooms. We will come back.

My family and I had a wonderful time! Beautiful home!

There were 9 of us, 3 kids and 6 adults. The house is large and made it easy to get some quiet time while the others did their thing. The kids rooms have so much extra sleeping room, if you're little one is scared you can easily sleep in the double bed with them.
Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided which was nice!
You do need to bring your own detergent for the washing machine.

The house and facilities were all as described and incredible. Our 2 granddaughters ( 7 and 5) squealed with delight when they saw their "princess" bedroom. Our 2 grandsons ( 10 and 12) loved their lego bedroom. All of us commented on the great beds and wonderful sleeps that we had there. We would definitely recommend this "Lair" to any large group. We loved the closeness to Disneyland. Two small things we noticed that could be corrected: the sensor for the light in the Lego bathroom did not work properly and the type of faucet in the pirate's lair bathroom was such that it let the water run back when shut off and made the counter wet. That's it--we had an awesome time!!

Pirate's Lair was very close to the Disney theme parks and was an ideal location for our family of 10, including three children under the age of 6. Leah and Ryan were very clear in their communication and check-in was seamless. The house was very true to the images online, and we quite enjoyed our stay!
